Preparations...

As I'm preparing to leave in a few weeks, I thought starting a blog about my travels would be a great way to chronicle my journey to the Limpopo Province in South Africa this summer.  There's still a lot to do before June 21st (my departure date)... travel insurance and packing are high on the list, but not as high as the mental preparations I need to do to be in an entirely different culture for 7 weeks.  My med school application also needs to be done, as well as some very important planning for my best friend's wedding before I leave!  Here's to a summer filled with lessons learned, great memories, and a chance of a lifetime!  :)
